YARD or Youth Arts Research & Development is the youth arts programme at New Art Exchange, Nottingham. New Art Exchange is the largest visual arts organisation outside London dedicated to contemporary cultural diverse arts.
YARD gives young people opportunities to learn, train, experience and work in the arts along with supporting and developing their own ideas. This programme helps young people to develop as artists, curators, promoters, hosts and experience the arts all over the country.
The YARD programme is made up of YARD Theatre, YARD Visual and Young People’s Panel aswell as one-off Family Friendly Workshops across the arts.
YARD is funded by BBC Children In Need.
